Voice.Kids

In 2016, Veronica took part in the casting for season 3 of the show “The Voice.Kids" in Russia. At the casting, Veronica performed “Defying gravity” (Wicked) and “Vysoko” (Yu. Savicheva) songs. The casting was successful, and Veronika got into the project. However, at the stage of the Blind Auditions of Season 3, the mentors (Bilan, Pelageya and Agutin) recruited their teams before Veronika’s turn came to perform, so Veronika’s performance in the show was postponed to Season 4 of the project.

In season 4 (2017), the composition of the project’s mentors changed - the red chairs were held by Valery Meladze, Nyusha and Dima Bilan. The stages of the Blind Auditions were filmed in the Glavkino pavilions over three days of filming, Veronica performed on the first day of filming.

The performance was shown in the episode of Blind Auditions on Channel One on March 3 , 2017 .

The song chosen for the Blind Auditions was Christina Aguilera's single "Hurt" from her studio album Back to Basics (2006) . Authors: Christina Aguilera, Linda Perry and Mark Ronson.

On the last note of the song, Dima Bilan turned to Veronica and took Veronica to his team.

I will forever remember this euphoria when Dima Bilan turned, this white stripe leading to his chair. At the end of the song, I was already a little desperate, because the song was ending, but no one turned around. I held the last note for a long, long time, and at the very last moment Bilan turned around! I can guess why everyone else didn’t turn around - they thought that I was already an adult, that I was 15-16 years old.

By the next stage, for the Fights, Bilan’s team was divided into a trio, and Veronika ended up in a trio with Artyom Seyranyan and Nikita Vlasenko. For the stages of the Fights, the song “True colors” by Anna Kendrick and Justin Timberlake from the cartoon “Trolls” (2016) was chosen, which was performed in Russian dubbing by Dima Bilan and Victoria Daineko (“Don’t lower your eyes”).

As a result of the Fights, Nikita Vlasenko from the trio entered the next stage, and Veronika’s participation in the project ended.

I had very good impressions from participating in The Voice, I liked performing on this stage, I liked how the audience in the hall reacted to the performances and supported us. Our team became friends during rehearsals, and we still communicate with each other. Voice is a lot of experience in performing and experience working with a mentor. Dima Bilan praised my good vocals and beautiful timbre.

Dima Bilan is a mentor who does not single out anyone from the three. Bilan made general comments to the whole trio, recommending doing something softer in some places, differently in others. I liked the resulting performance; we softly and smoothly captivated the audience. And I liked the composition of the three, and the number could not have turned out with a different composition.
